Based on the old fashioned "cold cream" formula, the cream has a rich velvet like texture thanks to abundance of natural butters and oils,  it can be an effective treatment for dry mature skin. Technically it is a water-in-oil composition, where lipids make up about 85% of the formula, and as such, this soothing and nourishing cream cocoons the skin in ultimate moisture, strengthening the skin barrier, yet allowing it to breathe, optimising its overnight recovery.
